On September 5th 2023, Teddy Hall quit drinking alcohol. He realised that the best method for remaining sober was talking about his sobriety onstage, thereby weaponising his people-pleasing need to affect genuine positive change in his life. In SLAYBOY Teddy reverse-engineers this logic by creating a show with which he slays personal demons on-stage: through this show Teddy quits smoking, fixes his attention span, finds comfort in and love for his body, maintains a cleaner house, reads a book from cover to cover, finds a way to maintain eye contact for 3 seconds or longer, and grows from a boy into a man. It's an ambitious show that blurs the lines of life lived on and off the stage.

The show will take place Jan 30th, 8pm at Valhalla Bar, where after the show Basel's best karaoke night takes place.

Since learning his trade as a comedian in London, Teddy has been performing across Europe for half a decade, exciting audiences with an unpredictable and quick-witted brand of comedy all about language, mental health, sexuality, and dentists. In his base of Basel, Switzerland, he has founded and runs On The Run Comedy Club and co-produces and hosts Comic Strip, a variety show renowned for its beautiful chaos.
Headlining shows across Europe and featuring on television in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, and Romania, Teddy's comedy veers from the profound to the inane to the stupid, keeping audiences on their toes, despite this being a very uncomfortable way to sit.
Teddy was nominated for a Swiss Comedy Award 2022 (and lost) and has also featured on Comedy Central DE Roast Battle and is recording a taping at Edinburgh Fringe 2024 with LMAOF, the OnlyFans Comedy Production. Teddy has opened for Todd Barry, Victor Patrascan, Dragos, Ashley Gavin, Elf Lyons, Robby Slowik, Casey Balsham, TJ, Daniel Ryan Spaulding, Anna Beros, Emma Dalenberg, Gauri B and many more.
