Hi there everyone, just wanted to introduce myself as the all-round theatre fairy responsible for ‘Slay Belles’ that will be having its world premiere on Monday 2nd March 2026 at the Cre8iv Little Theatre, Thornton.
I have written it in loving memory of my dear friend, Giles Edwin Bishop who was a trailblazing drag performer and incredibly talented theatrical costumier.
Giles passed very suddenly, in May 2024 BUT his final birthday was spent at Funny Girls a place he absolutely adored.
I would love for you to come along and give your feedback to a dark comedy- drama that celebrates all things Giles loved, and indeed touches on some of the challenges he faced in his beautifully colourful life.
The show is set it Fleetwood so it seems only fitting that ahead of it playing Theatre at the Tabard in Chiswick, London it has its first public outing much closer to home!
