The evening’s centrepiece features world-renowned cellist Stéphane Tétreaultin Prokofiev’s brilliant Symphonie Concertante, op. 125—a virtuosic tour-de-force that’s equal parts elegance and electricity.
Then, prepare to be dazzled by Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, in the shimmering orchestration by Ravel—a vivid, musical stroll through an imaginary art gallery that bursts with character and drama.
To top it all off, the Calos Youth Orchestra joins the NSO on stage for a powerful side-by-side performance—bringing the next generation of talent into the spotlight.
