A Chain Of Ideas On Display is a series of public exhibitions by artist Jes Brinch at Andersen-Andersen CCRThe purpose of A Chain Of Ideas On Display (A.C.O.I.O.D) is to produce chain of exhibitions where in Jes Brinch can empty the imagination and display a series of experiments with the public exhibition format in a playful manner. The exhibition series will show anything from new works to older works and masterpieces in new contexts.
Each exhibition will have a particular theme and title, and each will have to be seen in the physical space of Andersen-Andersen CCR Vester Voldgade 110. Therefore, no promotion shots will be published on social media until after the show has ended, to support the element of wonder and surprise. In other words, you do not know what you will see at the exhibitions before you arrive, or what mind-blowing artistic disappointments will greet you.
The first exhibition of A Chain Of Ideas On Display #001 has the title Slattent lagen (Flaccid sheet).
On display is a masterpiece by Jes Brinch from 2015, shown together with a new version of the masterpiece from 2024.
Andersen-Andersen CCR provides the exhibition space and gives the artist possibility to empty his imagination without compromise in a chain of exhibitions, as a long-time experiment.

The talk is in danish. Free entrance. Registration is required due to limited space.
