Join us for a day of exciting discussions and presentations on the latest research findings and projects from Slapton Ley National Nature Reserve and surrounding areas. The morning consists of 6 talks in the village hall, followed by a more ‘meet-and-greet’ style afternoon session at the field centre, which we've called the Market Place of Ideas, where people can network, share ideas and learn more about wider projects taking place in South Devon.
Welcome talk starts at 10am, with refreshments available from 9:30am in the village hall.
Don't miss this opportunity to network and share ideas with local people, academics, organisations and charities. See you there!
Further details:
- Free lunch and refreshments are included.
- We will be running a competition to raise money for the management of the reserve, so please bring along money to enter (card machines also available). Donations are also welcomed and appreciated.
- Transport to and from Totnes station can be arranged.
- Very well behaved dogs welcome.
- Bring a cushion as the plastic chairs in the hall aren't the most comfortable.
This year we are also offering a 2 night B&B stay over the weekend, alongside a guided walk of the National Nature Reserve, for £40. Please contact for further details.
