An experience of sound and rhyme that will empower and invigorate everyone in the audience. Come join us for a fun and experimental competition where all the children will read and perform their poems aloud for an audience and a panel of judges. Get ready to be inspired and let your voice be heard!
The Slam Poetry Contest 2023 will be divided into two groups:
1. Elementary Level (Ages 8-11)
Date: Saturday 25 March 2023
Time: 17:00 - 19:00
2. Middle School Level (Ages 12-16)
Date: Sunday 26 March 2023
Time: 17:00 - 19:00

** All participants need to submit an original piece of writing to meet these criteria:
① Theme: "Human (again)"; what it means to be human in a time of advanced technology.
② Word Count: The range of word count: Elementary Level 100-150 words Middle and High School Level 200-250 words.
③ Language Used: Does your poem use classroom appropriate language?
