✦ Umru ✦
Brooklyn-based Estonian-American producer umru emerged into the pop music zeitgeist at 18 years old quickly ascending from high school and online music circles to performing worldwide and collaborating with some of pop's most forward-thinking acts.
With a first credit on Charli XCX's seminal mixtape Pop 2, he was quickly recruited by A. G. Cook to co-produce the highlight track »I Got It«. The release of his debut EP search result on Cook’s PC Music label revealed his strength in merging intense, bass-heavy sound design with earworm melodies from a lineup of the internet's most influential vocal talent including Lewis Grant & Laura Les (of 100 gecs). umru’s work has gone on to excel in and help define the emerging space right between underground & pop, from his star-studded 7-minute »movinglikeazombie (remix)« with ericdoa (named one of the best tracks of 2020 by NPR) to production for Yung Kayo, Caroline Polachek, Tommy Cash, or Fraxiom, to his sound cache sample pack series that has become an industry staple, extending beyond his own productions as a defining sonic influence on modern music production.

✦ Lauren Duffus ✦
Although online traces of Lauren Duffus are sparse, the London-born artist has been quietly making moves in and beyond the underground music world over the last few years, attracting the attention of industry cornerstones including NTS, AD93 and British Vogue. It’s a much-anticipated build-up that will culminate in a new two-part EP, released later this year via AMF Records.
It all started during lockdown in 2020, when Duffus began experimenting with production software and a minimal home set-up. After a string of lo-fi yet cinematic self-releases on Soundcloud, she was taken under the wing of NTS, enrolling in their coveted artist development scheme. Since then, she’s released with beloved underground labels like AD93, performed across the world, and has been championed by artists including Benji B and The Avalanches. Her stand-out 2022 track Habits, mixed by TSVI and featuring choral samples, glitching synths and swarming breaks, was used in a dance performance at the Royal Opera House organised by British Vogue and Burberry – a feat that’s been followed by an East Asia mini-tour with stops in Korea, Taiwan and China, as well as an appearance at MUTEK festival in Argentina. Closer to home, she’s performed at institutions like Fabric, Village Underground and Colour Factory.
Often made in the early hours of the night, Duffus’ tracks have an intimate after-dark quality – equal parts mellow and unsettling. The nocturnal mood makes sense; she cites Oneohtrix Point Never and her early interest in witch house artists like Salem and Crystal Castles as influences. References aside, her uncanny production style – mutating synths embellished by poignant keys and understated yet mellifluous vocals – feels distinctively her own.

✦ BABii ✦
BABii is the alter-ego of master creator, world builder and electronic adventurer Daisy Warne. In the pastfew years BABii has radically changed the way she writes her captivating,boundary-pushing songs.Daredevil 2000 is a continuation of the writing style she began with2022 collaborative mixtape Screamer, which saw the producer and vocalist writing from theperspective of her younger sister and their strugglewith BPD. On Daredevil 2000 she pushesthat conceptual approach even further, taking an abstract look atthe idea of evil and projecting itinto her own imagined idea of hell. Through this creative exercise, BABiiasks challengingquestions about what pushes people to transgress while also exploring her personalrelationships with those who society deems unwanted or unacceptableAcross the album, BABii enters something akin to Dante’s Inferno, exploring the origins ofviolence andcriminality and how hell relates to the real world. Each song corresponds to aseparate sin andcomes witha villainous criminal attached. These include hooligans, gargoyles, goblins, and a Trash Spirit Clown namedTito Von Bricabrac. All exist in the fantasticalNevaworld, a futuristic hellscape that the album exists in.She gathered producers Warpstr, SamuelOrgan, Mun Sing, Iglooghost, and Pholo at Prah Studios inMargate, Kentto finish the album. Reference points in the recording process for Daredevil 2000’s punchyand abrasive sound included Kanye West’s dark masterpiece Yeezus, as well as Jam City andMumdance.Thealbumtouches on classic grime instrumentals, fluorescent bassline, UKG, R&B,and Detroit cybercrimescam rap for influence while sounding utterly unique.

✦ x3butterfly ✦
x3butterfly is a Mexican-American DJ and producer native to Detroit.
With a background in experimental performance art and interdisciplinary studies completed at California Institute of the Arts - x3butterfly’s call to clubland eventually saw the artist take up a life in Europe before ultimately making a move to New York.
Maintaining a transient ability to float across the Atlantic when the sonic nature of Berlin calls, x3butterfly’s breakthrough as a DJ has allowed for sets to pierce clubs like Panorama Bar, Ohm and Oxi, to others across continental Europe and North America, while successfully securing tours throughout Asia & Australia too.
Holding it down in NYC as a resident at Paragon, and regular guest at clubs like BASEMENT and Nowadays, x3butterfly’s sound is heavily influenced by their background as a dancer, both classical and contemporary. Inspired furthermore by early Throbbing Gristle and Coil, they align themselves with UK club culture and Detroit techno, as well as integrating euphoric sounds of Chicago house. x3butterfly considers their approach to DJing the intersection between the somatic and sonic.
Translating ego, fantasy, intimacy, and spirituality into an artistic medium, x3butterfly can be heard combining jungle, drum and bass, R&B and dubstep with dark, industrial and experimental sounds, as much as it can be house, hard breaks, club jams, UKG and baile funk.
As a fluid identifying artist, x3butterfly made ground in Mexico by helping their home town of Guanajuato host its first queer party, alongside online appearances for Boiler Room and The Sound Gallery. No stranger to radio either, x3butterfly mixes can be found on The Lot Radio, NTS and Rinse FM - next to delivering The Lowdown’s 150th podcast, and inaugurating Paragon’s Residence Mix Series.
By embracing a transatlantic vision of underground culture, queer communities and experimental scenes, x3butterfly’s improvisational technique and interdisciplinary approach flies by its own wings.

✦ Otis ✦
Otis is the founder of Slagwerk, a Brussels-based label notorious for their parties, bringing together the ever-surprising stretches of contemporary music – its history includes James Ferraro, Amnesia Scanner, Crystallmess, Oli XL, Varg2TM, Sky h1 and Vegyn. – and a delight in the many faces of club, never disconnected from the families it fosters. That partying is not something one should take lightly, understands Slagwerk like no other, showing that only in its experimental and dynamic embrace one can escape both nightlife’s over-intellectualizing and too- trivializing impulses. At Slagwerk, and so too in Otis’ continuous escapades as a DJ, the trivial is never just banal, the poppy never just popular, but the cutting-edge never turns pose either. In Otis’ sets, rigid conceptions of music are left aside, cul-de-sacs explored conditionally through humor, affect and instinct alike. Staying true to the thrill and shuffled spirit of online musical discovery, sound and songs connect and disconnect, flow and disrupt, genres are exploited and transgressed, melody seduced and swept.

✦ Vinessett ✦
Co-founder of the Brussels label and collective Isengard, Vinessett likes to disturb the crowd attention when he goes deejay. You never know what's next, but it's probably an absurd banger. Different eras and regions are invoked for this mess, from futuristic-sounding dnb to the most turnt trap anthem, to EDM-esque Guaracha to post-Y2K British grime to… He has too many to play, so he aims to create a multicolored orb that could mess the synapses of the crowd.
