In this hands on class, you will build a medium sized planter from slabs of clay and attach a perfectly fitted drainage plate so your plants can thrive in style. We will guide you step by step through shaping, assembling, and refining your form for a clean, modern piece that feels as good as it looks.When it comes to glaze, you get to make it interesting. Choose one glaze for a classic finish, or if you are feeling bold, pick two that overlap to create a rich, three tone effect. Our staff will handle the glazing to ensure those layers flow beautifully together.
This class is best for ages 13 and up and is welcoming to beginners and seasoned makers alike. Your planter will be ready for pickup in 2 to 3 weeks after firing.
