There are moments of silent depth in which the winter of the scalpel of meaning and the spring of the sound-born, unleashed body look upon the world fully present. When the notes at last are heard, the ordered world is their indistinguishable score. The ritual of process is that which carries. The process of ritual is that which brings moments both transitory and immortal, apprehended by musician, seer, clairvoyant, herald; the welling tones that emanate from the crystal salt of shattered primordial sea; the melody that creeps unheard from unseen distance across the desert blaze; the hymns that blare in whispers from mountain peak and valley depth, beams of their power streaming into the ordered world, in confluence with body, voice and soul, dissolving it again and again.
Water is the Sun is the inevitable union of Mkl Anderson (Drekka), and Adam Parks (Timber Rattle / Lightning White Bison). Together they play an alchemical amalgam of their primary projects, resulting in cinematic / landscape textures that give slow birth to psyche-pastorals and intoned ritual songs; a music as informed by the devotional chants of West Coast cults and Appalachian hymns as it is by the dark new age and ambient resonance of the experimental scene that has embraced and supported both musicians for many years.
"Ritual Fever" - with its dual reference to an ecstatic state connected with nature, and an anxious lack in the context of modern-day alienation - is Water Is The Sun's first co-written / co-produced recording. It is a sculpted studio document of a fully realized work which they present in its entirety during their live performance.

Sky to Speak is a sonic rite conducted by Matěj Kotouček, a sound artist and musician based in Prague. The project unfolds as a listening practice—slow, durational, and attentive—where sound is treated as offering, threshold, and residue.
Using synthesizers, acoustic bodies, and field recordings as ritual instruments, Kotouček summons expansive drones and fragile textures that hover between the cinematic and the formless. Each performance and composition is shaped by presence rather than control, allowing chance, silence, and resonance to guide the unfolding.

Jsou okamžiky tiché hloubky, v nichž zima skalpelu smyslu a jaro zvukem zrozeného, uvolněného těla hledí na plně přítomný svět. Když jsou konečně slyšet tóny, uspořádaný svět je jejich nerozlišitelnou partiturou. Rituál procesu je tím, co nese. Proces rituálu je tím, co přináší okamžiky pomíjivé i nesmrtelné, zachycené hudebníkem, věštcem, jasnovidcem, heroldem; vlnící se tóny, které vycházejí z křišťálové soli roztříštěného prvotního moře; melodii, která se neslyšně plíží z neviditelné dálky přes pouštní plameny; hymny, které šeptem duní z horských vrcholů a hlubin údolí, paprsky jejich síly proudící do uspořádaného světa, v soutoku s tělem, hlasem a duší, a znovu a znovu je rozpouštějí.
Water is the Sun je nevyhnutelné spojení Mkla Andersona (Drekka) a Adama Parkse (Timber Rattle / Lightning White Bison). Společně hrají alchymistický amalgám svých primárních projektů, jehož výsledkem jsou filmové/krajinné textury, které pomalu rodí psychedelické pastorální a intonované rituální písně; hudba, která je inspirována zbožnými zpěvy kultů ze západního pobřeží a apalačskými hymny, stejně jako temným new age a ambientní rezonancí experimentální scény, která oba hudebníky po mnoho let přijímá a podporuje.
„Ritual Fever“ – s dvojím odkazem na extatický stav spojený s přírodou a úzkostnou absencí v kontextu moderního odcizení – je první nahrávkou Water Is The Sun, kterou napsali a koprodukovali. Je to sochařsky zpracovaný studiový dokument plně realizovaného díla, které prezentují v plném rozsahu během svého živého vystoupení.

Sky to Speak je zvukový rituál vedený Matějem Kotoučkem, zvukovým umělcem a hudebníkem žijícím v Praze. Projekt se odvíjí jako poslechová praxe – pomalá, trvající a pozorná – kde se zvuk vnímá jako nabídka, práh a zbytek.
Kotouček využívá syntezátory, akustická těla a terénní nahrávky jako rituální nástroje a vytváří tak rozsáhlé drony a křehké textury, které se vznášejí mezi filmovým a beztvarým. Každé vystoupení a skladba je formována spíše přítomností než kontrolou, což umožňuje náhodě, tichu a rezonanci vést celý proces.
