We are delighted to announce the first event for our brand new Sound Lounge Acoustic Club. Hosted and curated by London singer-songwriter Ian Bennett this new monthly night will feature a headliner plus four/five floor spots which are available through application only. Through songwriting Sherika vows to encourage the conversations that make us vulnerable. From charming one liners to heart-felt confessions Sherika uncovers our complex journeys through a celebration of acceptance and continuously warms the hearts of her listeners. Born and raised in South London, it was after listening to Marvin Gaye Sherika came to realise she also wanted to discover her deepest emotions through performance and songwriting. She has performed at many venues including Ronnie Scott's, The Jazz Cafe and The Century Club plus she was invited by Seal to support him on two concerts include one in Belgoium
In our SL Acoustic club we hope to showcase new music, exciting and talented local singer-songwriters and duos/trios in our floor spots.
We also have some very exciting ideas for brand new club features, which we will be sharing shortly.
It's an ideal night of music for singer-songwriters and fans of acoustic music.
