Join the Buzz as we champion Earth Day!
Something new is buzzing at The Shops at Skyview! As part of ShopCore Properties' ongoing sustainability initiatives, the real estate company, which manages shopping centers across the U.S., including The Shops at Skyview, has been installing beehives at 30 of their properties throughout 12 states since 2022.
The honey from the beehive at our center has been harvested since last fall, packaged, and will be offered to the community as a gift during our 2nd annual Earth Day Event!
Join us to celebrate Earth Day with Beekeeping 101, honey-infused product sampling, a complimentary planting workshop by Queens Botanical Garden, Earth's melody performance, crafts, raffles, and more!
April 21st (Sun) 2-4PM:
- Beekeeping 101: Learn the basics of beekeeping and the importance of bees in our ecosystem
- Earth’s Melody Performance: Enjoy live music performance inspired by nature’s beauty
- Mini Planting & Veggie Stamp Workshop: Discover the joy of planting while creating eco-friendly crafts with Queens Botanical Garden
