Skydog Gypsy returns to the Classic City for the first time in over a decade to celebrate the release of their new EP, featuring all-new material that showcases an evolution in both sound and soul. The upcoming performance will be at Live Wire Athens on Saturday, November 30th. Earlier this year, the band performed for a sold-out audience at Aisle 5 in Atlanta. With a wide ranging background stretching from jazz to punk to southern rock, Low pulls from all the things that have shaped him. From Townes and Dylan to Miles and Zappa. But what comes out on stage is an intense rendering of original songs (and a few choice covers). Over the years Scott has shared the tour stage/road with Jason Isbell, Chris Stapleton, Caleb Caudle, Aaron Lee Tasjan, Sammy Kershaw, Shovels & Rope, Chris Knight, and many more.
8:30 PM - 9:15 PM: Floid the Dog
Floid the Dog draws inspiration from electronic musicians across generations; from aphex twin to STS9 and various flavors in between - the sound is a blend between trip hop, glitchy house, and experimental synth music. Daniel Griffith has been producing electronic music across genres for over twenty years under the names Geeze, Octavious Robot, and now as Floid the Dog he has found his stride with this latest project. One that allows for deep creativity and an unapologetic dedication to the styles that shaped Daniel's love for electronic music dating back to the 90's.

Skydog Gypsy brings a dynamic blend of psychedelic rock, funk, and experimental improvisation to their audiences. Each show is unique and captivating, with electrifying performances and heartfelt compositions. After a decade apart to focus on other projects, the band reunited in late 2023. Each member is driven by a renewed sense of purpose and the desire to create together once more. With a road-worn wisdom and deeper appreciation for their shared journey, Skydog Gypsy is back, melding their rich history with fresh, innovative sounds.
