Late November is usually a time for looking back over the past year, but we're continuing to look forwards with our latest instore announcement for 2026...Today, we're delighted to announce that Lancashire duo Sky Valley Mistress will be visiting Reflex on Tuesday 27th January, for a special stripped-back instore performance and signing session in support of their upcoming second album, Luna Mausoleum!
The new record sees Pilot Kayley “Hell Kitten” Davies and Commander Max “Leather Messiah” Newsome launch you into the sonic stratosphere with a collection of songs which that don’t ask for permission, don’t wait for approval, and don’t give a damn about your genre boundaries. Fuelled by the ghost of ‘70s hard rock, driven off-road into some strange new terrain where desert grooves meet mountainous riffs, the duo's characteristic sound is stitched together with Kayley’s voice - smoked, soulful, and soaring like a banshee with a broken heart and a flamethrower. It's sure to go down a treat in the intimate surrounds of our little shop!

Alternatively, all pre-orders of Luna Mausoleum will also be gain access. The album is available on 'moon dust' frosted transparent white vinyl and CD formats. As per your order, albums and wristbands will either be posted or available to collect instore on release day (Friday 23rd January). If you're willing to wait a few of days, you can also collect your copy from us at the event.
