A rare musical encounter awaits as Hungarian double bassist Péter Ajtai and drummer Szilveszter Miklós—key figures in Hungary's avant-garde jazz scene, known for blending free improvisation with Central European folk traditions and shaping the country's experimental soundscape—join forces with acclaimed saxophonist Tobias Delius, recipient of the 2025 Berlin Jazz Prize. Delius, revered for his warm tone and poetic phrasing, channels the spirit of Ben Webster and Archie Shepp while forging his own path in European free jazz. Expect deep interplay, raw energy, and fearless improvisation from three singular voices in contemporary jazz.
