About this Event
Skipping Stones promises a night of adventure and fun as we explore the latest that Singlit has to offer. Enjoy readings from the latest Singlit collections: a re-release of Wong May’s A Bad Girl’s Book of Animals, the New Singapore Poetries’ anthology and Nor’s body of work. Of course, there will also be open mic performances by various voices from around Singapore. Join us, too, in playing with the interpretation of poetry as we hear from two very different perspectives of the same text: the poet and the literature teacher. And for the audiophiles among us, look forward to putting on your earphones and listening to recorded readings of poetry in our four official languages.
