After a huge season in Edinburgh, multiple 5 & 4 star reviews and with an Off-Broadway run in NY just days away I’m delighted to announce that we’ve scheduled a homecoming performance of Skinny on Thursday 23 October.
This is an opportunity to see a very tight, slightly edited and extremely fierce version of Skinny, something that can only really be achieved after these incredible overseas seasons. And yes - we’re performing it in a pub/band room but I really like the sound of that.
We will also be holding a Q&A after the show as so many people often want to discuss the themes of the show, ask questions and in all truth, there’s so much more to this than what we’re able to put on stage.
This is also an opportunity for me to raise some funds to put towards the next incarnation of marketing for Skinny as quite a lot of it is going to change moving forward to reflect the empowering, funny and uplifting show that Skinny has become. I’ve got a few surprises up my sleeve too.
It’s been really tricky to schedule this and I was teasing everyone many weeks ago but it’s been so busy! I’m so excited to perform this show with our OG band at my absolute favourite pub, The Wheatsheaf Hotel.
