NEW event series! Starting off our Skillshare with Sewing 101, taught by local drag artist and costume extraordinaire Miss Josephine!The workshop will hit 3 key objectives: mending a seam, mending a hole / tear, and sewing on a button. If we have time, we'll dive into hemming too! We'll have sewing supplies and sample fabrics, but you're welcome to bring your own supplies or items needing mending if desired.
PS we will also be providing a light lunch (vegetarian & gluten free options available) and some cute door prizes!
The Skillshare Series is all about sharing knowledge, information, and skills in order to empower us all to help ourselves and each other navigate an increasingly expensive and difficult world. We hope you'll take these skills to your roommates, friends, family, and even strangers! We think of it as a form of mutual aid, and hope you will too <3
