Focus on the Fundamentals (9-12 year olds) and Starts and Turns (13 and over) with Olympic Gold Medalist
Come join us at the Roy and Jean Potts Belton Swim Center for an exciting event with Olympic Gold Medalist Leah Smith! Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned swimmer, this is your chance to learn from the best. Leah will be sharing her tips and tricks for success in the pool, focusing on the fundamentals (9-12 year olds) and starts and turns (13 and over) that have helped her in her swim career! Don't miss this incredible opportunity to improve your skills and be inspired by a true champion. See you there!
There are two sessions- organized by age group.
In the session for 9-12 year olds Leah will go over the fundamentals of each stroke with a focus on catch, kick, and body position. Each session will include "in water" lessons, racing, and an autograph session! After the clinic- attendees will race the 50's of stroke in a sanctioned swim meet- the times achieved will go into the USA Swimming data base.
In the 13 and over session, Leah will focus on starts and turns- sharing her knowledge as a world class freestyler and IMer. After the clinic, participants will race the 50's of sstroke in a sanctioned swim meet- the times achieved will go into the USA Swimming data base!
