Some of the topics covered include:
- Understanding the basic principles of Gestalt Therapy
- Developing presence and awareness in therapy sessions
- Using tools such as empty chair, role playing and mirroring
- Respecting the client’s unique journey and meeting them where they are in the present moment to provide a safe and meaningful experience
- Learning effective techniques for winding up or down sessions
- Practicing interventions for exploring and completing unresolved issues
- Looking at choice points and ethical considerations in therapy sessions

Judi Baron MSW, RSW
Judi has over 40 years of experience as a Gestalt Therapist and was the Director of Education of the Gestalt Institute of Calgary. She is a Graduate of the Three Year Post Graduate Training Program of the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland. In her private practice she provides supervision, individual and couples therapy through diversified modalities.

Angie Payne, Counselling Therapist
Angie is registered with The Association of Counselling Therapy of Alberta. She has been in private practice for 12 years and is the Founder of Equine Enrichment. She offers a range of therapeutic modalities including Gestalt, Equine, Group Coaching and Hypnotherapy.

Amy Monea MSW, RSW
Amy has been in private practice for 9 years after gaining experience in public mental health care. As the Founder of Heard Wellness Through Horses, Amy offers a range of modalities which includes Gestalt Therapy, Equine Therapy, EMDR and Emotionally Focused Therapy.
