Skillet Licorice heads to New Orleans' favorite dive bar, SATURN.That’s right! Skillet Licorice & The Allsorts Orchestra are touring Texas and Louisiana to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the East Texas Serenaders, those brilliant but obscure pioneers of Western Swing who paved the way for later bands like Bob Wills’ Texas Playboys.
Like the East Texas Serenaders, Skillet Licorice is sporting a killer lineup that will be performing up-tempo, twin-fiddle two-steps, rags and stomps along with crazy beautiful waltzes awash in luscious harmony. It’s going to be a magical evening of musical revelry that you won’t want to miss so we really do hope you’ll join us at Saturn.
The Allsorts Orchestra is:
Elise Engelberg: Fiddle
Matt Knoth: Guitar & Banjo
Clinton Davis: Fiddle, Mandolin & Banjo
Rowan McCallister: Mandolin, Guitar & Banjo
Mike Brown: Bass & Piano
Robin Fischer: Square Dance Calling & Fiddle
