About this Event
Have you ever said to yourself?:
I wish I knew how to get started?
I don’t feel skilled or experienced enough to come out to events?
How can I find and build community?
People come to us when they have these questions. When they don’t know how to engage safely, when they are longing to connect with others around this lifestyle and have no idea how to do it.
The Discussion and Skill Building Program provides an opportunity twice a month to hear about different kinds of engagement, to learn about safety and then have hands-on lessons and practice connecting with others through these different modalities.
You will leave feeling confident, feeling connected, and knowing for sure that you, too, can engage with others safely and have fun while doing so.
So… How does it work?
Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the Month
This evening starts with a social at McKenna’s Pub at 250 W 14th Street, on the corner of 8th Ave. We will meet there at 6:30pm and get to meet each other in a “vanilla” setting. We will have an opportunity to talk about what will happen during the class and you will be able to ask any questions that you have. Food and beverages are on your own,

8pm - 10pm
Once we get to the center, we will launch right into the practical part of the evening. There will be plenty of instruction and facilitator support while attendees learn about the skill of the month. We will spend both sessions each month reviewing the same skill set, only a deeper level on the 4th Wednesday. You will come to the end of the evening with more knowledge, confidence and skill than you had before, as well as having experienced for yourself that you really can do it!
