This event is for free sparring in an informal atmosphere with all weapons welcome. There will certainly be sabre, rapier, longsword, and maybe sword and buckler, spadone. For those interested we will go through the Helsinki Longsword Open 2025 ruleset and have pools and elimination rounds of judged sparring. Tell your clubmates! No cap on numbers!Timetable (provisional):
11:00 Hall open and free sparring, marking rings, seeding groups for pool competition. Arrive on time!
12:00 Brief organisation discussion and making pools for judged sparring
12:15-13:15 Pools / Free sparring
13:15-13:45 Lunch break
13:45-15:00 Free sparring / Eliminations
15:00-16:00 Free sparring, hall close.
