NOVEMBER 23RD 2024 - It's a week from the Fernie Ski Hill opening - you've left your engineering job in Sweden, you've ditched your sparky apprenticeship in OZ, you've left your sunny deck in NZ and you've made your way from Ontario... to swap it all for the dream... A ski season in Fernie!!So now it's time to meet your fellow ski-bums and make friendships that happen for a reason, last for a season, and maybe even a lifetime. It's time to do it right like every ski-bum before you and get dressed up in a ridiculous outfit and hit the dancefloor and find your people!!
On Saturday November 23rd, get dressed in the colours, flag, spirit, national dress or stereotype of where you are from and bring your dancing shoes the The Elks Hall - 491 1st Ave, Fernie. We have 4 amazing local DJ's lined up to get those ski bums shaking on the dance floor and there will be a few fun games to break the ice and get you meeting your people.
