Join the Cambridge Drawing Society as we kick off the Cambridge Arts Festival with SketchTogether - an inspiring opportunity to draw alongside members of one of the UK’s oldest art societies.

Hosted at Café au Chocolat on Green Street, this relaxed and welcoming session is open to artists of all levels, from seasoned sketchers to complete beginners. Bring your sketchbook, pencils, and any materials you enjoy working with. The event is free, but participants are asked to bring their own drawing materials.

After enjoying a FREE hot drink* from Café au Chocolat, you’ll be invited to step out into beautiful Green Street to capture the charm of this historic setting alongside fellow art enthusiasts (marvel at the layers of history and architectural styles). Alternatively, you can stay inside the café and sketch from life, soaking up the energy and bustle of the space.

At 3.30pm, the group will reconvene at Café au Chocolat to share work, exchange tips and ideas, and enjoy food and drink available to purchase from the café.
