Location: Fig Tree Coffee Art & Music Lounge
Join us for our first sketch meetup in cute Old Town Roseville! We’re gathering at the Fig Tree Coffee shop, where there will be a live pianist on this night! (No cover charge!) Sketch the coffee shop, the musician, architectural details, or venture outside to capture the surrounding neighborhood. They also have outdoor seating.
Schedule:
- 6:00 PM- Meet at Fig Tree Coffee shop entrance
- 6:00-6:15 PM- Quick introductions
- 6:15-7:45 PM- Sketch time! Draw solo or with others, stay inside or explore the area
- 7:45-8:00 PM- Throwdown! We’ll gather to share our sketches, take photos, and talk about what we drew
What to bring:
- Your sketching supplies (pen, pencil, sketchbook - whatever you prefer!)
- Water/snacks if needed
- Layers and a light source in case you choose to sketch outside
- A positive attitude and curiosity
New to urban sketching? Perfect! All skill levels welcome. This is a friendly, judgment-free community where we celebrate everyone’s unique style and perspective.
