Your daughter is growing, changing, and exploring who she is—and sometimes, it feels like she’s pulling away. Let’s change that! Join us for a creative and heartwarming evening at "Sketching Memories: A Mother-Daughter Portrait Night."
This event is designed to strengthen the bond between moms and their daughters (ages 11-14) through a fun and interactive art activity. Each pair will draw a portrait of the other, but with a twist—you'll create your vision of each other, including elements that represent what you love about them. For example, you might include a paintbrush for their artistic mind or sunshine for their bright personality.
This isn’t about being a great artist—it’s about seeing and appreciating each other in a unique and creative way. Expect laughter, surprises, and meaningful moments as you reveal your portraits to one another.
Event Agenda:
- Portrait Drawing Moms and daughters will create portraits using a variety of art supplies, capturing the essence of each other with a focus on connection and love.
- The Big Reveal & Discussion Share your portraits with each other and the group. Enjoy reactions, laughter, and meaningful conversations about what you observed and captured in your drawings.
- Closing Remarks & Group Photo A quick thank you to all participants, followed by a group photo to commemorate the evening.

About Your Hosts:
Nicole Hennessy
Nicole Hennessy is a certified Life Coach, Meditation & Breathwork Facilitator, and Therapeutic Art Coach. As a mom of three—a 21-year-old daughter, a 13-year-old daughter, and an 11-year-old son—Nicole understands firsthand how the early teen years can feel challenging and create moments of disconnect. Her experiences navigating these years have inspired her to create workshops designed to strengthen bonds and foster open communication between parents and their children.
Jenna Levine Liu
Jenna is the mastermind behind Sixx Cool Moms, a modern village designed for moms who love their kids but also value time to explore their own interests and connect with others. Jenna blends concepts of the past with current resources, hosting events and creating spaces where moms can laugh, grow, and find community.
