About this Event
Grasses make up a massive part of plant biodiversity and there are over 12,000 species on the planet! For this session, we'll focus on a 'field guide' study of some of the grasses found at the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens. Participants are welcome to follow the prompt or make their own journey.
How to Attend: This event is outdoors and we will meet in front of the entrance to the gardens at 5:30. While Sketchbook Sessions are lightly facilitated, this is also an opportunity for self-guided art making with others, and a chance to meet fellow artists and plant enthusiasts. This is a free session, and RSVPs are used to help us plan and track for attendance. In the event of inclement weather causing a cancellation, we will email attendees and post to social media and the website for notification.
Materials: Please plan to bring a sketchbook and drawing materials of your choosing.
