About this Event
In Sketch 101, you’ll learn the four fundamental sketch types while building a baseline portfolio to showcase your writing. You’ll also develop solo concepts, strengthen brainstorming skills for group sketch work, and refine your critique abilities through collaborative note sessions. Over six weeks, students will write at least four sketches and receive a full round of feedback on each one.
Sketch 101 has no prerequisites, but we do recommend you bring a laptop to classes for writing activities. It consists of six two-hour classes on Mondays (April 7, 14, 21, & 28 and May 5 & 12)) from 6 to 8 pm at Big Couch's Bywater location at 1045 Desire Street, New Orleans, LA 70117.
