What better than a bracing trip to the seaside with friends?!!!
We are having a weekend away at the Savoy Hotel in Skegness at the end of November and you are invited to join us. The plan is to dance, explore, dine and have some darn good Lincolnshire style fun! There are 2 options for accommodation:
2-night option - Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th
£115 per person (no supplement for a single room)
3-night option – Friday 28th, Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th
£150 per person (without dinner on Friday night, though this will be an option for £15 per person provided there are sufficient bookings).
The options include bed, breakfast and, on Saturday and Sunday evening, a 3 course Table d’Hote dinner with coffee and tea. Dietary requirements can be catered for. Please let us know when you book.
Departure is by 10:30am on Monday 1st December.
There is a deposit of £35 now to secure your place, and we have a maximum of 40 places.
The balance is payable by Saturday 15th November.
Parking is limited and on a first come first served basis but the car park spaces are quite small. Please book this directly with the hotel on 01754 763371 but only once you have secured your accommodation with us. There are plenty of other places to park in the area (many of which will be free).
Saturday
Arrival Saturday afternoon from 3pm.
Lessons in the ballroom:
3 – 4pm Modern Jive
4 – 5pm West Coast Swing
5 – 6pm music for social dancing
Dinner is promptly at 6:30pm. We will all be eating at the same time.
Dancing in the ballroom from 8:00pm until 11:30pm.
Sunday
Breakfast served 8.30am – 9.30am, come down anytime.
There will be plenty of time for people to explore or plan activities of their own.
We will be hitting the bars to eat, drink and be merry (dance). Paul Churchill of Churchill’s, Skegness has dedicated some space for us in his bar on Sunday daytime. It’s a quirky and colourful pub with lots of memorabilia and feature points.
Dinner at 6:30pm.
Dancing in the ballroom from 8pm until 11:30pm.
Monday
Breakfast served 8.30am – 9.30am, come down anytime. Departure by 10:30am.
