About this Event
Sign up to skate in one of 4 mixed teams made up of skaters from across the DMV and beyond! There will be six 40 minute games (each with a 5 minute halftime) as the Blue Bunnies, the Purple Bears, the Pink Ponies, and the Green Toy Soldiers battle to see who will reign supreme. Each team will play in a minimum of 3 mini games. First whistle will be at 10:00am, with our final championship game starting at 4:15pm.
Please make sure that you have answered all of the questions in this google form so that we can accurately place you on one of the 4 teams. Roster spots are not guaranteed until both the form has been completed and your ticket has been paid for. In the event that tickets are sold out for skater roster spots, please complete the google form and notate *ALTERNATE SKATER* in the final notes section. FXBGRD will reach out to you if a roster spot opens so that you can pay for your registration fee.
For the past 3 years Fredericksburg Roller Derby has hosted an annual Toys for Tots Benefit scrimmage, and this year we are excited to announce that we are turning this into a tournament! $5 from each skater's signup will be donated directly to Toys for Tots, and as a 501(c)3 we are proud to donate 10% of all of our profits to pur charity of the year, the Fredericksburg Food Bank. Skaters are invited to bring a toy if they would like to donate one on the day of. Bringing a toy will "purchase" a raffle ticket for items that our vendors have donated and will be raffeling off.
