The Bay's trained skateboard instructors will help youth ages 5-18 develop social-emotional and technical skills on and off the board.
About this Event

Our trained skateboard instructors will help youth ages 5-18 develop social-emotional, and technical skills on and off the board, from beginners to advanced. Skate School is divided into four skill levels, requiring demonstrated social-emotional learning — like etiquette, grit and confidence — along the way.

Skate School sessions at The Bay in Lincoln are now requiring pre-registration.* Practice makes perfect, so we want to ensure the success of our aspiring skateboarders. Registration includes free use of skateboard and helmet, on-site. You’re also welcome to bring your own! Helmets and a waiver are required. *A waiver MUST be completed by a guardian prior to attending.*

Skate instructors will assess each student’s level in your child’s first week and throughout the next week. Once every skill on your student's current level card is checked off, they will move onto the next.

Levels 1-4

Our Monday night Skate School session covers all levels (Levels 1-4) of Skate School. Registrants for this session will be divided into their respective level group and learn everything from how to safely get on and off a skateboard to any Flip Trick. Graduates of Level 4 will receive their very own The Bay-branded skateboard deck!
