At SKANK we honour the roots and evolution of electronic music. From Detroit’s deep techno pulse to tribal rhythms, breakbeats, and the soul of underground house – this party is all about the power of rhythm and community.
What to expect: A space to let go and stay present in your body, in the room, in the music. Genre-defying sets that move across moods and moments, carrying you through the night with sounds paying homage to Black/Latino queer music legacy. House music history is rooted in queer history and these spaces and sounds would not exist without the work and presence of queer people. This party is by the community and for the community and welcomes queer, trans and everyone in between. Come as you are.
