Skank n Boogie bring a mix of soul, funk and reggae to the chapel for the first time on the 13th DecemberStarting a monthly residence at Sadaaca in Sheffield in October 2024, the night has grown in popularity with music lovers and guest DJs coming from far and wide to enjoy the mix of musical styles provided by the trio of djs, DJ Algie Joseph a long standing DJ on the Sheffield soul scene, with his Gimme the Night events, Sunday soul radio sessions and Tramlines appearances, Dee Jay Ski aka Rob Cotterell a veteran of Sheffield Live with his Platinum Plates show and the Samual Worth Chapels very own Richard"Dubhut"Smith and his A Little way Different reggae night now well into its second year.
Expect to hear classics, rare grooves from each genre and good vibes alround. Dancing shoes required.
