Techno para dos is the project of Raúl Villamil. He has performed at the festivals Cervantino, Day Zero (experimental stage) Mod (Centro Cultural España), GIFF (International Guanajuato Film Festival) Off Sonar Mexico, Festival Ceremonia 2024, Alter-Native (Stockholm), abroad at venues such as Slakthuset (Stockholm), Miscelánea (Barcelona), Le Consulat (Paris), Moosdorfstr, (Berlin), Ex-Teresa Actual (México) among others.
He also performed in Peru at the Gallery of Contemporary Art “Proyecto Amil” and in El Paradero Cultural, as well as at the (Centro Cultural España) CCE of Mexico and the Teatro Juventino rosas (CENART) He was in charge of composing together with Sebastian Lechuga the music for “Dorje”, a choreographic piece of the dance company Nohbords that was presented at the CENART (Centro Nacional de las Artes). He was also in charge of composing the music for the multidisciplinary piece "Paisages" by Diego Vega and Ana Segovia commissioned by the Karen huber gallery.
He is currently developing a collaborative sound experimentation project with The Bionic Harpist which was presented at the first edition of MASS MÉXICO, commissioned by The performance Agency & Aguirre ( As part of the art week México) Raúl is also responsible for curating the radio program Pulso that is transmitted by the community radio “Fade radio” based in Athens Greece.
As a film audio designer, he was responsible for composing the original music for Pelayo Gutierrez Nakatani premiere opera "Los dos naipes" 2025.
Co-founder of the Mexican experimental music label VAA and teacher of the sound art school ARCO.
In 2022 he was creditor of the EMS (Elektronmusikon) experimental sound residence in Stockholm, Sweden. In September 2024 EMS (Elektronmusikon) handed over to Raúl for the second time the sound art residence in Stockholm, Sweden.
He was the first Mexican to position a remix for the Apple brand at the Apple event 2023.
