Hello everyone!! Xīnnián kuàilè! Chúc Mừng Năm Mới! Happy Lunar New Year to all who celebrate. We wanted to bring this back from last year and the dates line up even better. For those in the know, Lunar New Year will start on February 17th, 2026. Celebrations, customs, and traditions can last up to 15 days depending on the culture celebrating.
Since SJF falls nicely within that timeframe we thought it would be perfect to include all of you in that celebration. We will have a fun lesson lined up with the one and only Steve Yang and fun DJ sets for the night. We will have more details on small ways you can help show up and celebrate with us, but the easiest would be to make sure you're wearing red, orange, yellow, or gold!
This year of 2026 will be year of the horse. Horses carry great cultural symbolism and significance to Chinese culture often associated with strength, freedom, loyalty, and success. We look forward to having you!
