
About this Event
Applying a Size-Inclusive Approach to health promotion initiatives aims to create a culture and environment that supports all people to optimise their health and wellbeing. It creates space for authentic change to effectively shift the systems that hold weight stigma in place.
Join Better Health Network in learning about the size inclusive principles and how you can implement them into your everyday practice. The workshop will also highlight the strategies to apply a size inclusive approach within your day-to-day work.

Date & Time: Tuesday October 28th 1:30pm – 4:00pm. Doors open at 1pm for 1:30pm start.

You will gain from this workshop:
- Enhance knowledge, skills, and confidence in applying a size-inclusive approach to your practice as a practitioner; and,
- Gain an understanding about Better Health Network’s size inclusive organisation project and ways in which you can advocate for change within your own organisation
- Free resource kit provided for each organisation in attendance

This workshop is intended to complement the size inclusive forum and will be held prior at the same venue. It will be interactive and has been designed to encourage discussion and participation. We highly recommend that you attend both the workshop and forum.
