On Big Lake and Lake Mitchell in Big Lake, MN Saturday September 27th 2025 2pm to 6:30pm. $50 Entry fee per team, two person teams, 100% payout, payouts based on number of teams entered, limit 24 boats. First paid first entered. Sign up deadline will be September 26th at 5pm. Must sign up in person with the bartender at The Third Rail Bar And Grill. Meet back at the landing for payouts and prizes. Rules
• Walleye 15 points: Must be at least 14 inches. Bonus 5 points if over 20 inches. Limit of 6
• Bass 10 points: Must be at least 13 inches. Bonus 5 points if over 18 inches. Limit of 6
• Northern 10 points: Must be at least 18 inches. Bonus 5 points if over 28 inches. Northern between 22 inches and 26 inches must be thrown back immediately. Take it up with the DNR if you have a problem with that law. Limit of 6.
• Each team may bring in no more fish to be measured than the limits stated above. If they do they will forfeit all of their points.
• All measuring will be done back at the landing on the orange bump board. When measuring mouth to be closed and tail will be pinched. Weight will also be taken to be used as a tie breaker due to so many full bags in past years tournaments.
• In the event of rain or high wind tournament will still be held. If lightning we'll wait for it to pass or have to reschedule.
• All of the Minnesota and local lake fishing regulations will apply
• $50 per team ($25 per person)
• Payouts based on number of teams entered. Top 3 teams will get paid for sure. Potentially 4th and 5th place if enough boats enter.
• Payouts and prizes will be distributed back at landing.
• Cheaters, litterers, and anyone asking questions that have been listed here in the rules will be publicly shamed for being an idiot.
