About this Event
Six Realms is an immersive music experience unfolding as a single, uninterrupted ritual of sound.
This is not a traditional concert.
The performance unfolds continuously over approximately 60 minutes, inviting the audience into a shared space of deep listening and presence.
Many listeners describe the experience as focused, immersive, and unexpectedly physical — not through movement, but through the way sound and attention interact over time.
Inspired by the Buddhist concept of the Six Realms, the work uses this idea not as religious instruction, but as a framework for different states of being we pass through in life. Silence, intensity, and resonance are treated as part of the same unfolding experience, allowing each listener to engage at their own pace.
You don’t need to know how to listen,
only to arrive and stay present.
The performance takes place in the sanctuary of Arlington Street Church, a space whose architecture and acoustics naturally support immersion and focus. Audience members are invited to remain present for the full duration, allowing the collective atmosphere to be gently held by everyone in the room.
Six Realms is open to anyone curious about listening differently — whether or not they regularly attend contemporary music performances. No prior knowledge of Buddhism or contemporary music is required.
