Learn to paper piece using the "Judy Niemeyer/Quiltworx" method. This pattern is a wonderful introduction to paper piecing and only uses 6 colors! Start thinking about your colors...you will need 2 dark, 2 medium and 2 lights. I will share pics for ideas in a separate post.The class/retreat will include:
Pattern:
The pattern will be prepped and ready for to begin the paper piecing process, without delay, the first day of class.
Meals:
Day 1: Lunch, Supper
Day 2: Continental Breakfast, Lunch, Supper
Day 3: Continental Breakfast, Lunch
Lodging:
2 Nights Lodging/2 per bedroom
"Class"
Class will begin at 9 a.m. on Thursday. Doors will open at 8:00 to give students time to set up their workspace. Each student will have their own 5' work table. Each day you will learn how to make different components of this project and then learn how to sew the components together. Plan to sew every day and evening. Note: You will not finish the project in class, but will have all the knowledge to do so on your own.

- Basic sewing/quilting notions
- Sewing machine
- Add A Quarter Ruler - MUST have/NO substitutions
Can be purchased at the Retreat: $15
- 70/10 sewing machine needle(s)
- Quality cotton thread
- Rotary cutter with new blade
- Elmers Purple Schoolhouse Glue Stick - LIPSTICK SIZE
Cost $425 which includes:*
Class - 9am -5pm
Instructor in-house - 5pm - 9pm
Open sewing - 5pm to ??

not included on Saturday)
