About the bands:
Satori:
Satori is a group that embraces many genres of music. Mixing progressive, rock, jazz, folk and indie. Satori weaves in and out of these styles in an organic fashion. They have a tendency to groove their asses off and get into some free jams as well. They recently released their first album (self titled) which is available on Itunes & Spotify. Currently, Satori is performing at different venues in the Kansas City area to promote the new album and are constantly working on new material for future albums.
Satori is a 4 piece band; however they can play multiple instruments which gives them a sound bigger than 4 musicians can typically muster. Instrumentation: 3 vocalist’s, saxophone, keyboards, lead guitar, Bass Guitar and the occasional wood flute.

Molly Healey:
Instrumentalist and songwriter from Springfield, MO
A One-Woman Orchestra
A fan once lovingly stated that Molly brings the orchestra to the live rock show, and it’s a descriptor that has stuck over the years. As a longtime fiddle player for the Ozark Mountain Daredevils who morphed into a powerhouse experimental songwriter, Molly Healey began her solo career in 2015 after buying a simple looping pedal. She immediately found a passion for blending her strings and voice together into atmospheric and experimental orchestral folk songs, and her first compositions were featured on her debut solo album, Nightbirds. She has since recorded 3 more albums, each growing in intensity and instrumentation, and the most recent of which, Lotus, was released November 19th, 2022. She has grown from the stripped-down looping solo set, to a roster of original music and choice covers that she often performs with a full electric band. She plays a dazzling variety of instruments: cello, violin, guitar, and piano, all while experimenting with various other sounds looping in Ableton Live.
She has opened for Victor Wooten, Yonder Mountain String Band, and has played sets at Burning Man, Roots N Blues Festival in Columbia, and for the Missouri Contemporary Ballet.
She continues to play violin for The Ozark Mountain Daredevils, The Lacewings, and The Kay Brothers. She frequently does session work for various bands across the state.
Molly is also the co-organizer of Earth Day: The Festival, an annual music festival that raises funds for local environmental organizations.

Tracer Heights:
A power trio fusing rock, blues and bluegrass with the spirit of psychedelic improvisational music.
Tracer Heights is:
Ben Hoppes - vocals / electric banjo
When he heard a banjo being played for the first time at age 13, he knew the instrument was going to be part of his life forever.
Ben spent his early teen years running around the underground bluegrass scene jamming with anyone he could find carrying an instrument, allowing him to hone his craft. Building on this talent, he also developed what can only be described as “turbo folk” finger style guitar influenced by the likes of Leo Kottke, John Fahey, and Peter Lang.
Experimenting with the heavier side of music from artists like Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson. Using a custom built electric banjo, he melded his new electric style with influences from the oddballs of electric string musicians like Bela Fleck, Paul Gilbert, and especially Trey Anastasio.
Utilizing a Swiss army knife of effects and live electronics, Ben creates a sound that captivates a small room to the largest hall. Ben continues to bring a rootsy background to the modern twist of his ever evolving original style.

Joshua Pohl - vocals / drums / percussion
Joshua played percussion and drums throughout middle school and high school. Rhythm took on a new meaning for Joshua when he spent much of his late high school and early college years following around his favorite band, The Grateful Dead. It was in the parking lot of these historic shows that he would join in multiple drum circles and jams with his Djembe acoustic drum.
After 22 Grateful Dead shows including their final performance, Joshua moved to Minneapolis Minnesota and began to play drums regularly. He played for such groups as Emilie’s Mess, the traditional Irish Drinking Band Arise & Stagger, and finally making it big with a cocktail folk band by the name of Lace Martini.
After Minneapolis, Joshua moved to the small town of Flagstaff, AZ for a one year hiatus to the mountains where he played Bodhran and Djembe in the traditional Irish folk group The Drunken Boar. After AZ, Joshua came home to Kansas City and begin a new life and family while working for his late father. He continued to play drum set and hand percussion with the cover bands Babes In The Woods, Strange Case, and most recently, the harmonic Half Price Buddha.
Joshua found his passion in Tracer Heights, and is now an undeniable powerhouse in the Kansas City music scene.

Jeremy Clark - vocals / bass
Jeremy first picked up the bass on a lark, after being asked to back up Ben on a few songs during his record release party in 2009. In the audience was a local Kansas City bluesman, who noticed something that Jeremy didn’t know he had.
After a 5 year tour of duty on the regional blues circuit, Jeremy emerged as a confident musician ready to combine his roots experience with his passion for improvisational psychedelic music.
Believing the bass should be equal parts rhythm and melody, Jeremy leans on influences from Duck Dunn, James Jamerson, Phil Lesh, and Mike Gordon. Jeremy creates a solid glue for the rest of the band to build on, while also always being ready to take charge and lead the jams to new heights.
