Call for Rock Art at the Siuslaw Public Library for March ShowFlorence, OR – Local Siuslaw Area Rock Artists are proud to announce a special Rock Art Show, showcasing the creativity of local artists and the timeless charm of painted rocks. This inspiring exhibition will be on display at the Siuslaw Public Library’s Lobby Glass Case Gallery starting March 1st, 2025, offering visitors an opportunity to enjoy unique works of art that bring nature and creativity together.
Deadline to apply is March 1st during the drop off time 9am to 11am. This call for art is open to all artists, both emerging and established, all ages, submissions must be painted rock/s. It is free to participate. Artists may submit up to three pieces that are palm size or smaller (We limited space and we hope to accommodate all submissions). All artwork must be original and created by the submitting artist. Artwork must be family friendly. Application and more information is online at bit.ly/2025SiulsawRockArtShow (case sensitive).
To celebrate the exhibit, Siuslaw Area Rock Artists and BeauxArts Fine Art Materials is hosting a Free Rock Painting Event on March 22nd from 11am to 1pm in the Bromley Room. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just want to try something new, this event is open to all ages and skill levels. Supplies will be provided, so bring your imagination and join the fun!
“This event is a great way to explore the vibrant art of rock painting while fostering creativity and community,” said Patti Godwin, a Local Rock Artist. “We hope everyone will come out to admire the art, try their hand at painting, and make some colorful memories.”
