Calling all Salukis! The SIU Alumni Association and the Carbondale in the '80s and '90s Group are once again hosting the biggest Homecoming Tailgate on Saluki Row, starting at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 25, 2025!
This will be THE PLACE to share your Saluki pride and enjoy some quality time with fellow alumni before the SIU football team takes on the University of Northern Iowa. Kickoff is at 2 p.m.
Ticket prices are $40 per person ($25 for individuals 21 and under), with the option to purchase a table for your party at $80 (tables will be limited). Prices include a game ticket, food, beer, soft drinks, and giveaways courtesy of the Association.
A DJ will be on hand to provide entertainment, and we're encouraging people to show up in their spookiest costumes to celebrate this year's Homecoming theme, "Saluki Spooktacular."
Finally, we'll be having a silent auction, where you'll have a chance to bid on Saluki sports memorabilia and spirit baskets. Proceeds go to support Association programs and scholarships.
Whether you're a recent graduate or a seasoned alum, this event is the perfect opportunity to reminisce about your time at SIU and create new memories with friends old and new.
Don't forget to wear your Saluki gear or Halloween costume to get into the spirit of things. No matter what, bring your game face! We'll have games and activities for all ages, so bring the whole family along for a day of Saluki pride.
Please remember to bring a photo ID with you to be served alcohol.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you purchase your ticket after 12 p.m. on Friday, October 24, we will not be able to provide you with a game ticket. For those who purchased before the deadline, you will be able to pick up game tickets at the tailgate. Tickets are for bleacher seats in Saluki Stadium on the home side.
