The Sitka Jazz Week 25 Faculty and the AK Jazz Workshop faculty will combine forces to present an exciting music concert featuring inspired one-of- a- kind musical mind meld conversations between AJW Faculty members John Damberg-vibes/percussion, Mark Manners-guitar, and Nick Petumenos-keys, and Sitka Jazz Week 25 Faculty members including Bernard Purdie (Drum set Legend and inventor of the "Purdie Shuffle" and Christian Fabian (renowned jazz bassist, Artistic Director of Sitka Jazz Week, and leader of the Lionel Hampton Big Band). The quintet will perform original songs and fresh arrangements of well known funk, jazz, and Latin Jazz Standards. The concert runs from 7-9 pm. Doors open at 6:30 pm.
Admission is $20 for adults and $10 for students.
