About this Event
This project is going to be a landmark building on the City's skyline: 30 floors for private residential housing with a level 27 communal terrace, Ground Floor amenity areas, re-building of Guildford Crescent to replicate the facade demolished which will be new retail outlets.
The 31-storey building will be constructed utilising MMC. 29 floors of 'off site' constructed superstructure delivered to the site fully finished with windows, plenums/grilles & embedded services installed at the factory in Ireland. Bathroom & Shower pods manufactured off site and installed with each floor. It will be the tallest building in Cardiff, second tallest in Wales & the tallest pre-cast structure in the UK
This is a unique opportunity to view the project from start to finish with 4 visits planned at critical stages in the process.
Visit 1 - will have cast the 1st floor transfer deck which completes the 'on-site' part of the programme and marks the beginning of the next 29 floors of Pre-cast construction.
Limited spaces - You must register in advance to attend. PPE required is Helmet, Glasses, Gloves, Boots and Hi Viz.
