Announcing the spring season of the Sit, Stay, READ! Children’s Reading Program, the third Saturday of March, April and May. We invite all children to read to the dogs! It is a great way to improve your child’s reading skills in a fun and exciting way. The therapy dogs and their pet partners love for the children to read or even look at books with them. This program is a family event.Join us for the upcoming sessions on March 15, April 19, and May 17, 2025, at the Pass Christian Library, located at 111 Hiern Ave, Pass Christian, MS. Feel free to drop in anytime between 10 AM and noon.
The Visiting Pet Teams of South Mississippi sponsor the program. Reading sessions usually last for 30 minutes. Children are rewarded with bookmarks, stickers, or pencils for participating. The program is free. Children must not be afraid of or allergic to animals. There is no need to pre-register.
