About this Event
Looking for a friendly space to connect with fellow writers and make progress on your creative projects? This group is for adults and is all about community, inspiration, and getting words on the page. Whether you’re working on a novel, a journal, poetry, or a screenplay, you’re welcome here! Here’s how it works: 🗨️ Chat & Connect: We kick things off with 10-15 minutes of casual conversation. Share what you’re working on, talk about writing challenges, or just get to know other creative minds. ✍️ Focused Writing Time: After the chat, it’s all about getting down to business. We’ll spend 1 hour in quiet, distraction-free writing—just you, your project, and the supportive energy of the group. There’s no critiquing and no judgment—just a relaxed and encouraging space to write at your own pace. So grab a coffee from Little Lemon, bring your laptop or notebook, and join us in room 206 on the 2nd floor of the Georgetown Public Library—aka our creative HQ!
