You are invited to bring your wisdoms, woes & wishes to the sauna, steam & plunge!
We are in this together!
Sisterhood Sauna is a space for genuine connection, solidarity in
action, learning from one another while getting some much needed TLC!!
It's a cosy, playful, heart-warming gathering to ignite genuine togetherness in sisterhood. We share stories, listen to one another, have a good laugh & take a deep sigh of relief for the visceral remembrance that happens when women of all generations, gather in
circle.
Get that "we've been here before..." feeling...for real!
Isabella (your sauna host) will offer indulgences in steam, leaf whisking, scents, scrubs & sound bowls; songs to sing & meditations to bathe in.
We will cheer one another into the cold plunge - only if you want to! & give our bodies a deep cleanse with at least 3 rounds of sauna sweat!
(This gives your body time to get out all the city toxins)
Overall you are promised an evening of deep body-mind-soulful sanctuary & rejuvenation.

Terms & Conditions: please note, the definition of ‘woman’ and plural ‘women’ we are working with, is that of the Oxford English Dictionary: “An adult female human being. The counterpart of man”. The definition of ‘Sisterhood’ is based on the first part of the definition in the Cambridge Dictionary which refers to: “a strong feeling of friendship and support among women”. If you are not an ‘adult female human’, please respect this boundary, and kindly find another sauna event to attend. In case of explaination for this choice: the conversation, meditation & somatic exploration we engage with in these events, is specific to female anatomy, and thus it is not appropriate for males to attend; the purpose is also for creating a safe haven for freedom of speech, where females who may be afflicted with (C)PTSD due to experiences with males, can feel comfortable to relax in their own skin. This being said, I (Isabella Shirley-Miller) am not a qualified Therapist, and all those who attend are responsible for their own mental, emotional & physical wellbeing. Hence, there is an emphasis on rest, relaxation & solidarity, for women of all generations and backgrounds to feel welcome to participate.
