About this Event
This intimate intergenerational gathering brings together elder Ethiopian women artists and pioneering radical space-makers. It is not a panel ..it is a circle. A place of shared stories, deep listening, and collective presence.
Elder artists will reflect on their lives, creative practices, and the ongoing struggle to carve out space for art, care, and community within a patriarchal world. Emerging creatives and younger participants are invited not just to witness, but to engage ..to ask questions, exchange insights, and co-create a new vision of liberatory futures.
This gathering is a rite of passage: a moment of identity formation through shared memory and mutual recognition. It is intimate and expansive, rooted in the belief that no one should create or survive in isolation. Together, we will trace a radical lineage and imagine what comes next.
