Struggling to fit into the convent’s lifestyle, Deloris transforms the choir of nuns, turning them into a vibrant and soulful group that gains widespread attention. This fame jeopardizes her safety as Curtis tracks her down. In the end, with the help of her newfound friends in the convent and the police, Deloris manages to escape danger, ultimately finding a deeper sense of purpose and community. The musical features a score by Alan Menken and Glenn Slater, bringing a fresh and lively soundtrack to the heart-warming and comedic story.
