A weeklong musical workshop with Act II Theatre Company, finishing with a performance in the auditorium on the BIG STAGE!When disco diva, Deloris Van Cartier, witnesses a murder, she is put in protective custody in the one place the cops are sure she won't be found: a convent! Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with both the rigid lifestyle and uptight Mother Superior. Using her unique disco moves and singing talent she inspires the choir and breathes new life into the church and community but this is getting her noticed... Over the course of a week, participants will rehearse a production of the show, to be performed at the end of the week in the auditorium.
